One of the best actresses of the Brazilian pornochanchada genre. Certainly not the prettiest, with her big nose, and big feet, but Patricia was the one called for when extra screen presence and dramatic range was needed. She specialised in giving off an aura of smouldering resentment, and made the perfect rebellious inmate for a woman's prison. More recently she's been a leading voiceover artist for big Hollywood names.

This is a WiP-flick from Brazil, directed by Oswaldo de Oliveira who soon after brought us the classic Bare Behind Bars (1980). Unfortunately it is only available in an Italian version with tasteless inserts which are very jarring, especially in the clip below.
Patricia takes the innocent new prisoner role - these films all seem to have exactly the same plot. In this clip we witness her induction, along with another woman, enhanced by ominous 'spaghetti western' style music. Meiry Vieira is the older wardress who almost gets her fingers inside the vulnerable girl's knickers before the cut to the insert.

Who could possibly resist Patricia in a school uniform? With glasses too. And even braces on her teeth! (Might just be fillings actually, the picture isn't very good.)
She and hitchhiking pal Aldine Muller are picked up by a middle-aged family man and spirited away to a lonely tropical beachhouse. This complacent geezer might like to think he is in control of any situation involving himself and two naive nymphettes, but what he doesn't know is that these girls share an intimate telepathic bond which is at its strongest when they are either partially clothed or frigging themselves.
So this out-of-shape man (Sérgio Hingst), at the risk of spraining an ankle, races the girl into the jungle and to the waterfall. Of course our Patti wins, and claims her prize: she gets to strip off first while he has to stand and watch like a voyeuristic old creep. Someone on the set ought to have reminded her to leave her glasses till last, but like many sexually precocious girls she thinks she knows it all.
The screencaps tell the rest of the story. Patricia makes a very nice water nymph indeed. Watch Hingst try to slip in a sly spank on the bottom only for her to wriggle out of his grasp.

From part one of a popular three part compilation. Here Patricia plays a desperate drug addict on the verge of suicide. It's strange how shameful it is to be caught in the act of self murder even at the best of times, so think how much worse it must be for Patricia naked in the bath.

A long-drawn-out 'female hostages stripped at gunpoint' scene from this lively pornochanchada. Patricia has just got back from making passionate love with Nadia Destro when the pair are pounced on by a gang of armed thugs. Aldine Muller and Alvamar Taddei are naked already (I mentioned it was a lively one). One at a time they are to be taken to the bedroom and raped. 'Only one at a time', shrugs Nadia as she's the first to be led away, 'you guys got heart conditions or something?'
I've cut most of the 'rape' scenes out for being too long, poorly lit, and boring, but couldn't resist a 'snatch' of hungriness featuring Nadia. In an unrelated vignette Misaki Tanaka is with John Herbert, the perfect gentleman as always. Meanwhile the most greasily enthusiastic of the gang is breaking rule number one of psycho-sexual warfare: never point a loaded gun at a woman's crotch, it's such a confession of impotence you might as well stencil 'I am a penisless man' on your tee-shirt.
I was impressed by the spontaneous way Patricia appointed herself unofficial spokeswoman. If anyone can see the girls through this crisis it's level-headed Patti. Just look at her body language: conciliatory without being craven, you can why her companions turn to her so naturally for leadership. The more I see of this girl the more I like.

One of those crap 'adult thriller' type things from Brazil starring Patrícia (billed above Matilde Mastrangi no less) under the direction of her husband Luiz Castellini. Since Patti is a particular favourite I've often wondered what it would be like to be married to her myself. I've come to no firmer conclusion than that my work would suffer. Why? Because I'd spend all day idly clock-watching, impatient to get home for some more quality time with my beloved Patrícia. But that wouldn't apply if you were a film director would it?
But there are other dangers. If you were truly besotted with Patti you might indulge yourself in the mistake of casting her to dance enigmatically to the title music as Castellini has done here. There's a form of dancing, considered unique to the older male, involving moves so ill-chosen and clumsily executed that it has become so universally despised as to not even need a particularly insulting epithet: it's called 'dad dancing'. This sequence must be the young female equivalent; we'll have to call it 'niece dancing'.
The plot is the usual boring toss peppered with sex scenes not worth noting. Patti's bear-like husband is trying to make a younger, handsomer chap jealous enough to get him into serious bother. But is he crazy?! That guy's been drinking, and he's got a gun! And he looks like Patrick Mower!! This cannot end well...

Another role in which Patricia is allowed to wear glasses and have a bad haircut. She is secretary to a glamour photographer who, though posing as a gracefully ageing playboy, from her point of view is just another man-baby. She's always telling him off and threatening to leave. Never does of course.
Today we have a studio shoot with two heavily made-up dolly birds (Alvamar Taddei is the dark one) and Patricia has done her bit (making the phone calls and all the rest of the paper-shuffling it takes to set these things up) and is about to leave when chummy grabs her arm. Would she mind stopping and watching the shoot with him a while? And maybe even, er, help him direct the thing?
It turns out Patricia is a natural. Out she comes with a flurry of instructions to make the poses more tactile, put the props to more sensual use, and make the lesbianism more explicit. Absolute genius! You wonder what other practical skills she has a hidden talent for. Help you get your car through its MoT maybe? Or your gutters need cleaning out and you don't fancy putting up all that scaffolding on your jack? She could save you money! Ever get that crazy romantic urge to run after a woman?
Our man has his Latin lover's image to think of so seduces Patricia by dousing her hair in booze, but she respects the central point. Off she allows herself to be carried for a marathon bonking session that looks like it's from one of those ghastly Lover's Guide things which were suddenly popular years ago. And in some sickly 'tart's boudoir' environment too, which giving benefit of doubt may have been a leftover studio set rather than anyone's actual sleeping quarters. Thinking about it, Patricia may even have a hand in setting the place up, lingering shades of guilt being what persuaded her to be seen other than dead in it. Still couldn't get out of there quick enough though.

Patricia is resigned to not being the main attraction in this scene but is determined to make the most of it anyway. She's brought along Nicole Puzzi as a treat for the boss, while she herself will be paired with the boss's best friend.
It's all good clean fun at first, Patti suggesting a pants-chase game followed by a pillow fight. But it won't stay clean fun for long if this man has his way; he's notorious for his liking for anal sodomy. The way to deal with these tendencies is to clamp down right away. And when a girl like Patti clamps down the poor guy doesn't stand a chance!

One of those things where we begin with the heroine being interrogated in a police cell. It's a hint in advance that maybe she's a bit of a wrong 'un, but if it turns out the saintly Patti really did kill somebody after all I reckon she'll have a pretty good excuse lined up. And as events transpire indeed she does.
Patricia had fallen in with a handsome and sophisticated chap, a bar owner too, who alternated passionate sex with midnight anal rapes and hair-trigger domestic beatings. He seemed to have a problem with her not preparing his food properly and sipping from the whisky bottle behind his back.
At least it was good sex while it lasted, as you will see especially in the third clip, where our man is clearly not lacking in vigour and imagination, and also not backward in 'doing his bit'. This scene by the way was a red-roses-laden 'making up' call after one or other of the beatings. As you will see a distraught Patricia had rather let 'herself go', lounging around the house in trackies and a council house facelift (her look was ahead of its time).

Typical satirical piece from Carlos Reichenbach in that it involves ugly and boring people in situations of physical and moral squalour. Patrícia plays a wife prostituting herself to support her husband. Clearly the man is a bloody disgrace and indeed Patti once tries to strangle him (fails - very out of character).
We join Patrícia as she accompanies a middle-aged man to his luxurious home to play a game of mermaids. He's a nice enough guy, but he reminds me of the hapless chump taken advantage of by Krista Nell in Prostituzione: somewhat lacking in firmness of character. After fishing his catch out of the water he sets about her with kisses from chest to toe. Patti looks a little puzzled by this, as if it had never happened to her before. And knowing that husband of hers it probably hadn't. Puzzlement turns to frustration as our man gets understandably 'stuck in a loop' on the 'toes' bit. The saintly Patti takes the initiative to mitigate the fiasco, trying to find a neutral part of her naked body where he can bury his face and hide his tears.

One of her best roles (and worst haircuts), Patricia works in advertising in this semi-serious late period pornochanchada. So it goes with the territory that she's an alcoholic in the habit of allowing random latin hunks to take her back to their hotel rooms. She finds love is so much simpler when she's passed out drunk. I can't help thinking she could have made a better choice of partner this time. Just getting her pants down takes half his strength and all his ingenuity.
But in the second half of the scene he redeems himself somewhat. Unwilling to make love to an unconscious woman he tries one of those 'semi-consensual' things (much in the news nowadays) beginning with a glass of water flung in the lady's face. Hmm.
Skipping a 'talky' scene, to end a great night out the pair have it off in a fountain in downtown Rio just as the first rays of dawn are edging over the horizon. When the gentleman has finished up Patricia is still slitching herself senseless up against the statuary. But Patti sweetheart, ever get the feeling someone is pushing you away with their eyes? Ever got that 'I'm not with you' vibe? Ever wondered, in short, whether it's time to go home? In its way this episode is quite romantic.
