This Japanese starlet (most often known as Misaki Tanaka or similar) was a regular in minor pornochanchada parts. With her charming vulnerability she always seemed to be at her most available when the role demanded there be some abuse handed out, eg. being boiled alive and naked in a cooking pot.

Misaki in a montage from the Brazilian WiP classic by the ever-eccentric Ody Fraga. I'm afraid she's the school 'snitch' in this one - telling tales on the other girls in exchange for chocolates from the headmistress Frau Gelli. And you know what that means don't you? Headlock from Márcia Fraga while wearing only your pants. And rude words inked on your body! Doesn't bear thinking about really.
She even loses Frau Gelli as an ally when she presents her naked graffitied body in that dignified lady's study. But the wretched girl does have one friend left in the world. Fearsome wardress Marly Palauro shows her tender side when she helps her wash and puts her to bed.

Another menial task performed to her usual high standards by Misaki in this not-quite pornochanchada. Our handsome young blond hero has decided he's due some 'me' time, thus retires to a palatial colonial mansion where everyone's favourite long-suffering oriental starlet is one half of a duo assigned to massage silver vases of double cream into his tired limbs with their breasts. It's reminiscent of the classic scene in Emanuelle in Bangkok with Koike Mahoco going to work on Laura Gemser, but disappointingly unexplicit - the girls both keep their pants on. At the end - and it goes on for quite a long time - a duskily exotic lady appears at the head of the grand staircase, and our man takes the first chance in his life to act like he's Roger Moore. I've a feeling his night is not yet over...

In a prison cell a desperate young man is flicking through a dirty magazine (one of the classier ones to be fair) when suddenly the gorgeous oriental model he has been fantasising over comes to life. How come? He was bitten by the aphrodisiac insect of the title that's how come. But Mii Saki is such a tease she leads him a merry old dance around the cell. Warning - at the end this guy shows off his little bollocks like a monkey at the zoo.

Now is the time of year we start thinking seriously of where to take our holidays this summer. This clip might be an inspiration: splendid scenery, quiet unspoilt beaches etc. I have to be a bit vague about location though: Brazil. Or to be more precise: the coast. Misaki and her two backpacking pals (Nadia Destro and Alvamar Taddei) are enjoying every minute of it. They've put up for the night with a friendly old man, definitely the 'old sea dog' type.
This morning the trio are enjoying some sunbathing. 'Are you sure this beach is costumes optional?' asks Misaki, always the sensible one. 'Of course it is,' replies Alva, 'or at least if it isn't, nobody's looking. Those blokes over there, they're not looking!'. So off come the bikinis.
One of the most pathetic things about informal nude beaches is men who are too scared to approach young women lest they look like perverts. These girls have hardly spoken to anyone else for a week; go up and chat, they want to make new friends! Still feel diffident? Put on a tracksuit, pretend they've got in the way of your morning jog, put them on the back foot, boost your confidence! I bet this guy's glad he did. What if Nadia had trod on that poisonous sea anemone and he hadn't been there to lend a hand? He'd never have forgiven himself.
To turn to a less happy subject, remember the old sea dog? Well, he's been plagued by unreleased sexual tensions since the girls turned up, and now resorts to the sad sad practice of sniffing their pants while they're out of the house. Why put something sordid like that in a film just when it was going so well? Do they think we don't know how it's done? Girls' pants have powerful hallucinogenic effects apparently. Not really, but it does mean the film can end on a 'high' note (pun intended).
The second clip is a bonus scene of Misaki in the shower. Alone. Did you see the two others queueing up outside? Wasted opportunity. As you'd expect this girl acquits herself well, paying just enough attention to her private areas to be hygienic without being an embarrassment if her mother happened to be watching. On the downside, the old sea dog is back again, peeping in at the window and threatening to turn the whole film into an instruction manual for the hopeless and depraved.

An uncharacteristic pornochanchada that prefigures the 'adult drama' genre on 'nineties cable TV by being elegantly filmed but insufferably boring. I hacked this clip around a lot to get rid of intercut scenes leaving it in a jerky mess, but it still shows Misaki's body off as well as any other scene.
A man (responsible husband and breadwinner) is assaulting long-suffering Misaki as they both sleep. She is his wife after all so perhaps he's entitled to take certain liberties. Misaki in her turn is used to being subjected to more than the usual amount of lecherous abuse in her role as an erotic film starlet. But in her role as wife and mother - well as far as she's concerned if her old man is going to keep her awake with nightmares he can make his own breakfast thank you very much.

A satire from the usual pornochanchada producers and cast but directed by the more intellectually ambitious Carlos Reichenbach. It's about uncommonly boring people in squalid circumstances centred around a shabby Brazilian beachhouse. Despite (or because of) the dreariness-on-purpose it's compelling and very funny.
This little episode stars Top Gear's James May in an early role he's done his best to forget. Make up your own storyline, perhaps he thinks he's one of those Japanese soldiers still fighting WWII. The lovely Misaki arrives as some sort of mail order bride and happily submits to the abuse to which she is accustomed, ending in a cooking pot. The imagery mocks prize bores Godard and Pasolini.
