From a somewhat lurid and hysterical Russian mediaeval village drama. Natalia, a solid and blameless (apart from the social crime of taking a sauna on her own) matron, meets a bad end. Half the village blames a werewolf, while the other half make mental notes to advance the study of forensic pathology over the next thousand years or so. Meanwhile Natalia is taken to the hut of ever-so-nice laying-out lady Tamara Tana (cf. Tatyana Novik).
