Alexandra plays a well-to-do young bride who falls under the sinister spell of a handsome young painter. Serves her right really, if she hadn't been such a pseud and gone to a less avant garde gallery to choose paintings for the marital home none of this would have happened.
This artist fellow (very much in the Uri Geller mould - never trust those types) doesn't waste time employing his hypnotic powers and soon has our aristocratic heroine flat on her back on the gallery floor with her clothing ripped open and her body bared right down to her thighs. Hardly an original concept but still quite an effective scene.
In the second clip painter chappy (better look him up - it's Mathieu Carrière) has moved Alexandra in with him (meanwhile some overprivileged dope is calling round the police stations wondering where his wife has got to) and is showing her off to a friend. But over-confidence has got the better of him, and the woman freaks out, dashing from the room and having to be comforted dumped naked on the bed legs splayed wide apart. Far from a novel idea but still quite a stimulating scene.
The third scene has the gloatingly sadistic Carrière demonstrating his controlling psychic powers from a distance one night. Which basically involves Alexandra crawling and sprawling naked around the floor in the dark, and loving every minute of it. Until the Geller-esque lightbulb-popping manifestations begin that is. Thank goodness Mother chooses that moment to pay an unexpected visit! And she proves herself a very gracious lady given the circumstances.
