Marie Hélène Règne
Reviews and pictures of actress Marie Hélène Règne naked in "Les confidences érotiques d'un lit trop accueillant" and "Les petites saintes y touchent".
A French beauty with a brief career in the more sophisticated erotica of the 'seventies, she had the rare gift of an almost aristocratic screen presence without losing anything in human warmth.
Les chiennes (Michel Lemoine, France, 1973) (as Joelle)
Jeunes filles impudiques (Jean Rollin, France, 1973) (as Béatrice)
Les infidèles (Christian Lara, France, 1973) (as La gouvernante)
# Les confidences érotiques d'un lit trop accueillant (Michel Lemoine, France, 1973) (featuring Marie Hélène Règne as Maud) ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭
with Martine Azencot, Chantal Arondel, Nathalie Zeiger, Monique Vita, Magda Mundari, Bunny Godillot, Anne Libert, Olga Georges-Picot, Michel Le Royer, Janine Reynaud, Marie-Georges Pascal and Emilie Mathis
Marie Hélène brings to life an idealised vision of the Parisian prostitute in this lightweight little tale. She drags back to her flat a somewhat vague and distracted gentleman who you may recognise as Monsieur le Cosmopolite from Les petites saintes. Not having his pin-point precise grasp of the French language I'm going to have to guess a little at the set-up here: his friend has dropped his keys on a previous visit and not wanting to go back himself (you know how it is) has arranged for a deputy to get round there and search for them.
I think our man might be intended for a homosexual too, an extra reason for failing to notice the obvious focus of attention in the room. But Marie Hélène is an old hand and the couple are soon making love amongst an exquisite 'seventies ambience of wave machines, pin-tables and the colour brown.
Les filles de Malemort (Daniel Daërt, France, 1974) (as Maxime)
# Les petites saintes y touchent (Michel Lemoine, France, 1974) (featuring Marie Hélène Règne as Fabienne) ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭
with Martine Azencot, Nathalie Zeiger, Maria Mancini, Catherine Mouton, Bunny Godillot, Jacques Bernard, Robert de Laroche, Philippe Dumont, Jerry Brouer, Brigitte Borghese, Joëlle Coeur and Catherine Flobert
Another short story from the same collection as Catherine Mouton's seductive English tutor, it is likewise notable more for the charm of the leading actress rather than the outward sexuality displayed. Marie Hélène, a high-class call-girl, is mistakenly brought home by a stuffy London gent instead of the intended au pair. Ha ha, what a mix-up, a real marriage-wrecker, I wonder who got the au pair?
Marie Hélène, with her beguiling mix of beauty, elegance and naïveté, together with her tendency to peel off her clothes at awkward moments, is every Englishman's dream of the sophisticated Parisienne. But what about the English gent?! Speaking French like a native, a master of suavity and unflappable self-possession, he's almost more attractive than she is. What a legend!
