Reviews and pictures of actress Ewa Aulin naked in "La controfigura", "La morte ha sorriso all'assassino" and "Quando l'amore è sensualità".
Born: 1950 Country: Sweden
One of a wave of blonde Nordic imports who enlivened European cinema in the late 'sixties. Sadly after a few early misfires she decided to get a real job rather than spend any more time wallowing in trash.
Ewa Brigitta Aulin (born 13 February 1950 in Landskrona, Skåne County) is a Swedish actress who appeared in a number of Italian and some American films in the 1960s and 1970s. She is remembered for playing the title character in the cult film Candy where she appeared alongside such stars as John Huston, Ringo Starr, Walter Matthau, James Coburn, Richard Burton and Marlon Brando. snippet from Wikipedia

# La controfigura (Romolo Guerrieri, Italy, 1971) (featuring Ewa Aulin as Lucia aged 21) ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭
with Jean Sorel, Lucia Bosé, Silvano Tranquilli, Sergio Doria, Antonio Pierfederici, Bruno Boschetti, Giacomo Rossi Stuart, Pupo De Luca, Marilù Tolo, Bruno Alias and Giuseppe Marrocco
This Italian psychodrama copies the Les choses de la vie formula of spinning one man's dying memories across the entire film. Only this time it's not a car crash; Frenchman Jean Sorel is made to get out of the DS then mercilessly gunned down! There's something creepy about this actor that makes it so much more satisfying this way.
It's a judgement on the man's character that it tends to be the bad things he remembers. Like the monumental mix-up that led to his taking a beach holiday honeymoon without packing a bathing suit for young bride Ewa. Imagine the girl's blushes having to run around in her birthday suit with a pair of Deirdre Barlow sunglasses the only concession to modesty! The plucky young lass is determined to make the most of it, frolicking in the sea like a porpoise and streaking up and down the beach like there wasn't even anybody looking. She gets her act together and covers up for the rest of the film, but was this a good omen for the marriage, or was it a bad one?

# Quando l'amore è sensualità (Vittorio De Sisti, Italy, 1984) (featuring Ewa Aulin as Angela aged 34) ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭

Ewa, no slouch when it comes to etiquette, naturally gives priority to her guest young bride Agostina Belli when there's an unfortunate clash of bath nights. Though considering they're both impossibly luscious young females it's almost bad manners for her not to get in with her (especially when people are paying to watch). I'd expect Agostina to remember it as a snub if the other girl wasn't so obviously licking her lips.
Moving on, still on the subject of manners, what's a polite houseguest expected to do with any LP collection she comes across? Bugger it up that's what. Put the discs back in any old order, and in the wrong sleeves if at all possible. It's the sincerest way to compliment them on their taste in music. But beware, it's considered bad manners to hang around in the morning hoping to catch one's hostess padding down the hallway with her bare little bottom on show. And especially if you compliment her on it afterwards.
Il tuo piacere è il mio (Claudio Racca, Italy, 1973) (as La marchesa Cavalcanti aged 23)
# La morte ha sorriso all'assassino (Joe D'Amato, Italy, 1973) (featuring Ewa Aulin as Greta aged 23) ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭ ✭
with Klaus Kinski, Angela Bo, Sergio Doria, Attilio Dottesio, Marco Mariani, Luciano Rossi, Giacomo Rossi Stuart, Fernando Cerulli, Carla Mancini, Giorgio Dolfin, Tony Askin and Oscar Sciamanna
A giallo format Italian horror with something of the atmosphere of a low-budget Hammer, but with inimitable D'Amato craziness. Eva tumbles into a prosperous Italian household Carmilla-style after her carriage overturns. When the doctor is called he notices something odd about the girl - no vital signs whatsoever. Hmm.
The first clip is the doctor's examination. It's Doctor Klaus Kinski by the way, so Eva can be forgiven a few anxieties about his bedside manner. But having to undress right down to her corsets brings out every frustrated voyeur in the household (imagine the customers in a sports outfitters when Erica Roe goes in to try on a new rugby shirt).
The second clip is a classic sequence, despite its characteristic Italian randomness. A gorgeously mellow score score by Berto Pisano plays over a montage of scenes of the contented young couple now sharing their lives with the beautiful Eva. But the mistress of the house (Angela Bo) struggles with love-hate feelings for the girl, beginning with a compulsion to drown her in the bath, followed by a passionate kiss and make up.
Ceremonia sangrienta (Jorge Grau, Spain, 1973) (as Marina aged 23)
Mi fai un favore (Giancarlo Scarchilli, Italy, 1996) (as Dyane aged 46)
