Jane Lapotaire

A review and pictures of actress Jane Lapotaire naked in "Country Matters S02E02: The Black Dog".
Jane Lapotaire

Born: 1944   Country: United Kingdom

A girl from Ipswich who was born to play the role of a saucy French maid, and sometimes actually did so. Most of her career has been spent being underused, mostly in TV roles.

Jane Lapotaire (born 26 December 1944) is a British actress. Lapotaire was born at Ipswich, Suffolk. She studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in the 1960s. Her performance in the title role of Marie Curie (1977) first brought her to wide attention. In 1978 she performed the title role Édith Piaf for Pam Gems's play Piaf, directed by Howard Davies for the Royal Shakespeare Company, in Stratford-upon-Avon and in London at the Warehouse Theatre, Covent Garden in 1979. Two year later the show moved to Broadway. Lapotaire won the Tony Award for Leading Actress in a Play that year.   snippet from Wikipedia

Jane Lapotaire from Country Matters S02E02 The Black Dog

A period TV drama starring Jane as a saucy servant girl, English not French, but she does pepper her conversation with paraphrases of Edith Piaf song titles so there's hope. She's won the somewhat diffident admiration of a stereotypical minor toff (Stephan Chase) who this fine summer day is escorting her on a country walk. Suddenly they come to a rather deep river.

I'm tempted to think he's set this up, but I'm not at all sure about this cricket jumper wearing Rupert. Either he's the complete gentleman unwilling to impose himself on the lady, giving her plenty of time to back out with words in the vein of 'I don't like the look of this' and 'I want to go home', or he's a very smooth operator indeed, allowing the unsuspecting lass to argue herself into a trap by feeding her leading questions such as 'Is there a bridge?'', head tilted to one side all innocent like. The desired outcome of course is for them both to strip naked in the bushes and doggy paddle across with their clothes in bundles on their heads.

Did I mention Jane was the saucy type? She grabs at the hints with both hands. Which relieves our Rupert of phase two of his operations: persuading the wench she'll be in less trouble with her mother for being seen streaking than for coming home in soaking wet vest and pants.
