Scilla takes the role of the maid in this crap Italian period soft porn drama. I happen to like the chambermaid type, and Scilla is a good example. Attractive, talkative, practical, level-headed, unflappable. So if you wanted to perv on the girl naked and you were a little bit past it yourself, how would you go about it? As these two clips show, there's a right way (one blessed with society's approval that is) and a wrong way. (Guess which one requires the natural talent and professional training.)

In the first clip a menial (probably the gardener) pulls back Scilla's bedsheets while she's sleeping in the nude. Simple and effective, and mixed with appropriately deferential cap-wringing and copious flattery elicits no more than a mild scolding from the girl rather than righteous anger / vengeful wrath etc. You can tell it hasn't done the guy's self esteem any good though.

In the second clip a rather vague artist with ageing Peter Firth-style good looks who has been engaged to paint the portrait of the Countess suggests painting Scilla in the nude. She was only there to bring the tea things, but he asked nicely, so why not? The man's a gentleman; he does all the right things. Chats to her, takes an interest in her work, treats her like a human being in short. Then it's bollocks to this as he pounces on the bed. That was the moment he went wrong. No wonder he was left scratching his head at the end.
